Ammo can be found from dropped guns, at dropship crash sites, near dead Marines, or in other areas. The only exceptions to this are the Plasma Rifle and Pistol, which require a new weapon if the power cell is depleted. If you walk over a dropped weapon you're holding, the ammo will be stripped from it and placed in the weapon's clip. This applies even if you're not holding the weapon currently.

The overshield triples damage you can take before your shield starts to go down.It is very useful, but you can't pick up more than one at a time, and it is usually found off the usual path.In single player, it only depletes when you are damaged, but in multiplayer it slowly depletes until it is out, even if you are not taking damage.

| These come in handy. |
You should know what these do; they heal you to full health! You will find them in crash sites, near dead Marines, or in other corners or alcoves. However, if you have one bar of health lost, but still have a lot of health, save that health pack, especially if there are enemies in the room; eliminate the enemies then get the medipack.You cannot take them with you and use them for later, you'll have to remember where you found them.

Active Camoflauge renders you invisible for a short time. You can't be seen if you stand completely still, but if you move around, you can just barely be seen(looks like a glassy figure). If you fire a weapon, the flash muzzle can be seen, which can give away your position. Use this time to sneak up on enemies and kill them in a single hit on the back with a melee attack. The Active Camoflauge symbol is a bluish triangle with a circle inside it. Use this whenever you find it.
